Privacy Policy

Photos you upload are used only to build your album. They are stored on Vercel Blob storage. An unpaid draft or a free album is deleted automatically 30 days after it was created. A paid album is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, its albums are deleted right away, together with all their photos. An account that hasn't been used for 24 months is deleted, with its albums and photos, after we have sent two reminders to its e-mail address. A paid album ordered without an account is kept for one year from the order date; we e-mail the order address 30 days before it is deleted. An album you download contains its photos and stays yours forever.

When you create an album with AI, the album's photos (up to 300 per album, reduced in size) and its texts are sent to an AI provider — OpenRouter, which passes them to Google's Gemini models — to choose and arrange the photos and to write suggestions. The AI chat and AI text suggestions send your messages and the album's texts the same way. The free, hand-designed album sends nothing to an AI provider.

To group photos of the same person, faces are detected on your own device while you upload. What is stored with the album is a numeric description of each face and where it is in the photo — never a name or an identity. It is used only inside that album, is never shown to anyone viewing the album, and is deleted together with the album.

Your choices about AI and faces. Designing an album with AI is on by default: when an album is designed with AI, its photos and texts are sent to the AI provider described above. Grouping photos by the people in them (face recognition) is off unless you turn it on. You can change both choices at any time: on your account page or, for an album without an account, in the editor menu under "Privacy & AI". Turning AI off stops future AI requests, and you can always design an album by hand; albums already designed stay as they are. Turning face grouping off deletes the face descriptions already stored.

If a photo carries location data (GPS coordinates saved by the camera), we store it with the album and send the coordinates — not the photo — to Mapbox, to get a place name. Place names can appear in the album's texts.

Other providers that help run the service: Vercel (hosting and photo storage), Upstash (album and account records), Supabase (AI chat history), Resend (emails such as password resets), Sentry (error and performance diagnostics) and jsDelivr (delivers the face-detection model to your device). Payment is made on the payment provider's own page; we never receive or store card details.

We don't show advertising and we don't track you across other apps or websites. We don't use your photos to train models, we don't sell them, and we don't share them with anyone other than the providers named here, which are needed to run the service.

Your album is reachable only via its unique link (an unguessable, cryptographically random ID) and never appears in a public listing. Anyone holding the link can view it, so share it carefully. Only you can edit it — through your account, or, without an account, from the browser you created it in or with your private edit link.

You can delete an album from My albums, and your whole account — with every album in it — from Account, under Delete account, at any time. You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to us.
